六蔽

The six sins that smother the six (sa) pāramitās: grudging, commandment-breaking, anger, family attachment, confused thoughts, and stupid ignorance.

蔽是覆蔽之義， 能蔽淨心者， 有六種， 名為六蔽。 一、 慳貪能蔽布施， 使之不生。 二、 破戒能蔽戒行， 使之不生。 三、 瞋恚能蔽忍辱， 使之不生。 四、 懈怠能蔽精進， 使之不生。 五、 散亂能蔽禪定， 使之不生。 六、 愚痴能蔽智慧， 使之不生。 觀此可知六蔽乃是六度的反面。
